Queste scie o ‘contrail’ in inglese, sono le nuvole artificiali che si formano al passaggio degli aerei. Elaborando questo concetto, è nato un nuovo strumento che sta lentamente prendendo piede grazie alla sua utilità: “Mentre giri in bici, contrail lascia una scia di gesso dietro di te [..] Lo scopo è quello di incoraggiare nuova partecipazione da parte dei bikers, dimostrando che la biking community può lasciare un segno unico e distintivo e reclamare il proprio pezzo di strada. [Contrail] ricorda ai bikers dove si può pedalare in tutta sicurezza –> nuovi bikers si convincono ad uscire in bici e usare contrail –> le linee contrail diventano più luminose e la community cresce”.
